Before you run, you must learn to walk. Before composing music, you learn the notes- and before writing poetry, you learn the language.
The New School of Classical Art (NSCA) atelier was founded in 2005 with the objective of providing aspiring visual artists with the tools necessary to communicate ideas through representational art of the highest quality.
Students learn the formal elements of drawing and painting by focusing on accuracy and precise observations made from nature.
By the completion of the atelier program, students can expect to be trained in figurative anatomy, portrait, still life, figure, floral, interior, and landscape oil painting techniques.
