The New School of Classical Art Atelier - Dana Levin
The Atelier Setting

For centuries ateliers (artist's studio) were considered the most favorable environment for passing artistic methods and techniques onto students. The atelier as classroom was acknowledged by the Masters of the Renaissance, the Guild Schools of the Flemish, and by the finest artists of the 19th Century French Academy.

In keeping with these pinnacle periods in art, NSCA offers lessons in a traditional setting. In January 2008 the school expanded to a spacious 1800 square foot studio space with 18 ft. north facing windows. The facility is comprised of a model area, student work spaces, and instructor's studio.

Ms. Levin’s atelier is located in the Arts and Entertainment district of Pawtucket RI – just minutes from Downtown Providence, Brown University and Rhode Island School of Design. This location provides students with ample affordable housing options.
